Unhappy Moroso? When Will It Open Again?

WELL, I KNOW THAT MOROSO IS CLOSING UP FOR THE WINTER, I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO GET MY CAR READY TO TAKE TO THE TRACK after the newest mods..after leaveing nitrous and going vortech, and the pi head swap and 2000 gt intake manifold. I HAVE IT OVER AT THE SHOP DOWN IN MIAMI RIGHT NOW (SOUTH FLORIDA PERFORMANCE). WELL THEY ARE INSTALLING A DIABLO CHIP , 44 LBS FUEL INJECTORS AND, A NEW MASS AIR FLOW METER. ( my car still has the 19 lbs fuel injectors, no chip and stock air flow meter) well i have a little problem, i blew a steel head gasket last night.. I WAS HOPING TO GET MY CAR TO TAKE IT TO RUN IT AT TEST AND TUNE TODAY, BUT THAT WAS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN.. SO IF ANY ONE HAS THE INFOON MOROSO, IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

If you want just keep my email address handy for questions about Moroso since it's practically my second home at this point. Tonight is the last test and tune for the year. Sunday they have the outlaw street drags but there are no time slips so it doesn't do you much good unless you want to grudge race. The first test and tune for 2002 is January 9th so take your time getting your car back together and make sure it's right before you head out.

I'll be out there on the 9th for sure sporting a new exhaust and possibily new intake.

Bill

I hear ya, one advantage of living down south is very little track downtime.

I'll be at that event, see you out there...

Good to hear. I will be running the Factory Stock class. Just found out my rear tire combo is legal, which took forever to finally get an answer. 275/50 on a 15x10.

Now to completly redo rearend with Eaton posi. 31spline axles, c-clip eliminators and 3.73's
Install nice new suspension and I'll be all set

By the way anyone have idea on what parts are needed to install a Tremec 3550TKO in a '00.

For the TKO you need a new shifter, clutch disk, bellhousing and possibly driveshaft.

That seems rather easy enough. I was figuring a centerforce clutch and pressure plate , lakewood bell housing along with the TKO.

Now to find out if crossmember will work with TKO or modify existing one.

Default thanks mustang 92 ill keep you in mind.

, i finally got the computer up and running again aftr two weeks, well i have bad news and good news, first i leaned my stang it had the small 19lbs injectors in it and the the vehicle was runing lean, i popped one of the pistons in the front of the block, i ordered today the forged je ceramic coated pistons 9.1 compression with the good pins and rings, and forged manley rods, this was some really expensive sh*t ...i said before that my car had me in a ditch, with the head swap and , now im in a giant whole, needless to say, this is running a high tab on my credit cards. i am honestley beggining to wish i never went the supercharger route , because of how expensive this route tuned out. iwill be selling alo of my original factory car parts on ebay. my seller name is xasiks107x,if yo guys just want to take a look and see, i may be selling a 2000 gt romeo block with the 98 heads, the block has a bent crank, and needs a new timing chain cover, i may sell my dry nos set up, with some never opened parts like, rmte bottle opener, and purge kit. thanks, hopefully ill be up ad running in time for BRADENTON, FL. NMRA...tony
