This is from Ford's SVT site

A new body design for 1999, complete with sharper angles, recalls the styling of the original Mustang. The '99 SVT Mustang Cobra performance features include a 15hp increase and independent rear suspension (IRS), tumble port heads for better air flow, and a coil-on-plug ignition system. Safety improvements included 13" Brembo™ brakes, anti-lock brakes and standard all speed traction control. Leather becomes standard for í99 with two color options (Medium Parchment and Dark Charcoal). A new exterior color option, Electric Green Clearcoat Metallic, rounded out the í99 package.

Cool

If you’re asking me I really can’t say because I had the HP mods done at the same time. I can say however that the after the gears went in it felt like I added another 36HP!
