Default I am the unluckiest guy in the world!

Ok so last summer I sold my beater 92 Ranger so I could have the cash to do my T-5 swap. I knew I was gonna regret it once winter got here, but I didnt care then.

Well winter came and no snow yet. I got a couple Blizzak's for the rear just to help me out a little. Still no snow.
I live off campus at college and I had 8am classes during our winter quarter (just finished, whew) so I got lucky that we had no more snow.

We've had an extremely warm winter and it's snowed ONE time, and that was only on the grass for about 6 hours and didnt stick at all on the roads.

So knowing how nice it has been and being almost March, I figured I'm probably in the clear. So yesterday I put my ram air scoop back on (snow plow), washed the car, then went and put my drag radials back on. It got up to 58 degrees and sunny yesterday by the way.

Well about an hour after getting back from the tire store, I was watching the news when the weather came on. WINTER STORM 02 was the headline! son of a .....
We were gonna have 4-6 inches by mid day today starting at 5am.

It's now about 1pm and it looks to be about 4inches so far and its still snowing and the roads look kinda bad.

I'm not complaining about it snowing, its Indiana so I'm used to snow and I can drive well in it. Its the fact that I got my car all done up the DAY before this snow comes. I dont think semi-bald nitto drag radials will like the snow either
I figured it would atleast wait for a week to kick me in the butt.

Oh well, I'm on quarter break till sunday, hopefully it will go away. Otherwise I'll just slap my Blizzak's on my old 10holes and put them on temporarily.

thanks for listening to me rant

Exclamation Winter never ends

fiveohpatrol:

Tough break but as another guy that lives in snow country and drives his Mustang all-year-round, I can tell you that - tempting as it may be - I never assume snow season is over until mid-April (we've had blizzards here in early April).

Once into late April, I do my tire changeover, tune-up, waxing, etc...but not much before April 20th or so, depending on the weather, of course.

I've learned, as you now have, not to trust a mild winter or a few balmy days in February.

Yah I've learned now for sure.

by the way, its still snowing now and the roads look like crap.
But my car is in the garage still covered up and won't be moved till my break is over and I have to go back to school.

Tough luck man, it was so nice outside the other day, now we got like a inch of snow and it's -6 celcius. I had my hopes up high wanting to get my seats back so I could take my car around the block but looks like I still have no seats and snow on the ground.

Take it easy,
§am.

whats goin on there? the only thing i have planned to go to in bowling green is the Corral day in July. Its a pretty nice track, lookin forward to goin.

Well I took the stang out today, I thought the roads didnt look tooo bad, but once I got out that quickly changed. Now its got grime all over it Oh yah and I parked in a lot with just about a half inch covering of snow and barely made it out of my parking spot cause of the Nitto's

I guess I WILL have to get the blizzaks back on my other wheels before I go back
