Question Anyone have a Flowmaster kit on a 2002?

I just got off of the phone with a rep from Flowmaster, and he tells me they have yet to try out the existing 2001 kits to see if they fit on a 2002! Sounds like B.S. to me but, before I go and buy one, I want to make sure they fit!

He may have a point. I am running into the same issue right now. See the 02 has a new "bullit" style exaust (one piece or something) ... so this is why they are not 100% sure.

Hey Lizard, I just got my True Blue GT last Friday!

It just seems ridiculous, here it is May, and they don't have an exhaust yet, for the car that has made their company what it is today!

If you think that's bad you should have tried getting aftermarket parts for the new stangs in '99 or '00. It takes time to design and test things.

I realize that, but it isn't that hard to take a 2002 and see if the 2001 kit fits. And if it doesn't, that's fine just make a note of it and let the public know. But they have yet to do that!

I totally agree with you that they should do these things faster. Mustangs should always be highest priority for new development. Unfortunately it seems to take them about 10 times longer than you would expect.
