Default h or x pipe?

Hey I have a 97 gt so far all i got is a k&n fipk and magnaflow mufflers and now i am considering the rest of the exhaust i wanted to know if anyone knew of a pipe(x or h) that sounded good, got good power, (has cats) and doesn't hurt low end torque. I'm considering the magnaflow x-pipe, so if anyone can let me know what they think.

Thats what i was think, this is my only car so i'de like to keep it street legal, and i heard that the magnaflow pipe does give you better hp but less torque, i heard the prochamber is really good but you can't get it with cats, anyone know were i can get it with cats.

the only way to get a catter prochamber would be to buy the shorty chamber, buy cats seperate, and have it all connected.

I heard the cats fell apart and will still lose torque or gain some

I agree with Hammer but the Magnaflow X w/cats is also nice...and cheaper. I've had my Bassani X for about 4 years, no problems.

BBk or FRPP's are decent. Have you ever put headers on before? The mod motor will definitely will give you a headache trying to put them in. It took me a good 8 hours and a case of beer to get mine in...having them installed is very expensive$$

I'm not knockin Magnaflow, but I am a firm believer in, you get what you pay for. I have a Bassani off road x pipe on my 90 gt and love it. I have never had any dealing with an aftermarket h-pipe, or catted pipe at all for that matter. The h-pipes have a raspier sound than x pipes, which have more of a eaqualized sound. I think the x pipes actually eaqualize the flow a bit better, but the difference is neglidgable. Thats about all I have to offer at this time. Hope this helps.
