Question Long Tube Headers/Lowered suspension??

Has anyone succesfully encorporated long tube headers with a lowered suspension? I'm toying with the idea of long tubes on my 00 GT, but I know I will also be lowering the car 1-1.5" later on. Can anyone give me some guidance?? How low can I go without scraping over bumps??
