I believe the code is ES
I've done alot of warranty work for a local ford dealer and it seems all the mustangs that we got with transportation damage were either Ebony (UA) or Performance Red (ES). Hope this helps, Mike

For Performance Red, the paint code is ED, and the molding code is J.
Take care, -Chris

ED PERFORMANCE RED 1994-1995
ES PERFORMANCE RED 1993-2002 ES PERFORMANCE RED 2001-2001 EY PERFORMANCE RED 1993-1997 Well, it could be any of these. I just punched a search into my BASF smart track system(dont ask why I have it loaded on my home computer along with it loaded at the shop) and the results come back with this. The code ED was used in 94 to 95, SN95 body but 5.0 motor. The code EY is seen on alot of trucks. The code ES is used on everything from trucks, escorts and mustangs. I just did a 35th anniversary stang that got hit hard in the rear, paint code on the the body tag? ES If you have a tag in the driver doorjam, look in the lower left corner and above the words paint will be you paint code. If you dont have a tag you can go to a automotive store or bodyshop that uses Dupont and has the Vindicator computer system. A VIN number is all that is needed and a paint code and formula is printed out and from what I hear from guys who use it, you get a very precise match! Hope this helps, Mike

That would explain why my 1995 Ford PDM&L manual said it was ED!
Take care, -Chris
