Belt squeak on upshift
I've noticed that recently the fan belt has started to chirp when I shift hard into 3rd gear. I have heard before that the belt tensioner can go out on 4.6 GT's. Is this a sign that mine is going to take a dump?

Mine used to do that too. I replaced the belt with the Dayco type V-Belt and it hasn't chirped since. The Dayco belt I have actually whines as it gets faster, and sounds like a gear drive..
