How close would this be?
Just wondering how close a race this would be..... a 94 Z28, 6 spd, completely stock.
Versus a 96 GT(S), 5 spd, air silencer removed, 3.55's, pulleys, catalytic H-pipe, Dynomax Super Turbo's. Any thoughts??? |

I believe in 94 the Z28 had 275hp and they run with a 3.42 gear putting them somewhere in the low 14s. You're definitely at a disadvantage in terms of power but your gearing is a slight advantage. I would say the Z has the edge but it could come down to who's the better driver and your launch. Did the 96 GTs have 215hp or 225hp? I always see this being debated. Good Luck!
