Default 4.10s! A scientific study...sort of

Hello guys & gals:

I just got the 4.10's today INSTALLED! First of all...THANKYOU for talking me out of the 3.73. I should have gotten 4.30's (hehehehe).

Anyway, I could not resist. I got my g-meter out tonight and made some runs. I have before and after data. If you have 4.10's and you think your car is faster, well I have PROOF!

I have made numerous runs with the car with the stock gears and have recorded peak g-forces in the first 4 gears. Then, tonight, I ran with the 4.10s. The difference is astonishing!!!

3.27's:
1st - 0.52 g's
2nd - 0.36 g's
3rd - 0.24 g's
4th - 0.15 g's

4.10's
1st - 0.63 g's
2nd - 0.47 g's
3rd - 0.36 g's
4th - 0.23 g's

Seems to say it, doesn't it!!!!

1st gear goes by quick, though, but I like it.

Oh I forgot you had 3.73's before.
I was thinking you went from 3.27's to 4.10's

Those numbers are great! I bet you're luvin that !!

CORRECTION!!!!! I made a typo! That data was from 3.27's NOT 3.73s.

Sorry!

I am glad you like it. Now go spray it.
Wait till you launch it on slicks!
Good luck.

That pretty much agrees with the butt-o-meter - after I put in the 4.10s, 4th felt like 3rd used to, 3rd felt like 2nd used to, etc...
