Question BBK Throttle body...Anyone???

I just installed a twin 62 t-body on my 97 cobra. Went on fine and everything is cool except the cruise control linkage is too short. I mean i can stretch it and it goes on but then it makes the butterflys open just slightly, which inturn has my car idling at 2700 rpm. Anyhows is the any ajustment i can make to give me a lil more slack or any website with some info....or has anyone else had a problem?
