Give the brand-x cars a few years and they'll be targa tops with the neat looking rusto-metal interior once all that cloth rots away. I've never seen any t-top car that was worth a damn once it got twisted up a little bit and the seals went away. Why not just get a vert T-Tops = transexual, they can't decide if they want to be a vert or a hardtop.

Dude, how many different ways do you have to hear that the roof isn't strong enough with the middle cut out. Look at the difference in C pillars on the two cars. It just wouldn't hold on the Mustang.
Besides, it would leak, be heavy like a vert, but not be as cool if they made one with a t-top. If your really hellbent on getting t-tops on a mustang, there were some early foxes that had them. No one has seen them. I think thats the general consensous. Ever seen them on a 65? No. Its the same thing. There's NO market for making a t-bar car out of a hard top.

There are no kits at this time that allow you to add T-tops to your car. It's just not cost effective.

I think the T-tops on the early 80's to '88 mustang looked pretty cool, although i don't know how much "fresh air" you'd actually get compared to a convertible.
T-tops are ok, but i'd much rather have a 'vert myself, but that's just my opinion The T-tops in the new camaros are pretty cool, i think T-tops just work better for camaros because of the styling they've had. If there was a conversion for new mustangs i'd be scared to see what it looks like, the roof is THE main structure for mustangs and the convertibles have tons of bracing because of the lack of roof. A conversion would require basically all the convertible precautions. It would be unique and pretty cool to see a new T-top mustang.

I believe he was talking about me. I asked a long time ago about putting T-Tops on a 98 Model GT.
