chico, 4.10 gears will increase the torque multiplication of the motor significantly. The increased torque makes it MUCH easier torque to spin the tires. Titan is right.

Silence....the mighty tireburner has spoken....there will be no more talk of this.

Your wrong...obviously you don't have a brain.

Your gonna have more of a traction problem after swaping from 2.73 to 4.10 gears.

But it ok, just ramble on more about how many mods your Cobra has

I know I'm new but speaking in real terms, the amount of traction you have does not change. Traction is a funtion of "mu" and does not change unless the type of rubber/tread changes. However, with steeper gears the car is able to produce more torque which reduces traction even further.

Once again for the slow moving...go back and read the previous posts..yout little defending boys club is beginning to gety a little boring...I have allready identified my remarks..even the avid reader(let alone the avg. player) KNOWS ..that increasing the rev's the drive shaft turns compared to one turn of the tire (example..4.10 revolutions to one turn of tire is adding torque and HP) less mph but there sooner, requires driver handeling, tires, suspension. surface and temperature...when you start hearing the sound of tearing metal, its time for more reinforcement...

Hey slow moving is good, I really don't give a ****. I didn't read the beginning but I figured my B.A. in physics would come in handing. All I saying is, my 2002 gt is more fun to drive than any other car to date and can't wait for the s/c.

One last little comment..I have a coup;e of peop;e in my classes that are still riding 10 speeds.( no benefit of free home food and rent) looking forward to the day they can own something even similar to a 2002 GY Mustang....Glad for your intro to an education, it's just beginning...attitude will reap more benefits than a degree in Physics.....You need at leat a Doctorate to take that profession any further...You have a long road to Hoe.........
