Default major vibration

Whenever car is in idle it idles smooth, but when I put it into gear the whole car vibrates and shakes. Transmission seems to be shifting fine(auto) unless you manually shift it up from 1 to 2 to o/d. It shifts slow and hangs for a little bit. It is the driveline, bad u-joint, or transmission trouble? I have a vacuum leak I know, but I haven't been a able to find it. Please help.

It's a 97 and it is idleing at 900 which is a little high. It is at my uncle's shop right now. From what my dad and a couple of other people are saying, it is a vacuum leak.
