Default What'll it take to get a 12 sec '02 GT???

I'm thinking of getting a 5-speed '02-'03 GT. I know little to nothing about modular stangs, so your help would be appreciated. If I throw on Eibach drag launch springs, Steeda TA, CAI, 3.73 gears, and either a o/r h/x pipe or MAC prochamber.......what times should I run. Then, what'll it take to run 12's? Can I throw 125-150 hot of N2O and get there or better?

Are the stock intake, heads, headers ok in the '02?

Thanks guys in advance.

Ported heads,
cams,
honed intake (Bullitt or SVO)
3.73 or 4.10
X pipe
mufflers. lol
and good ole longtubes.

I think that's good for mid 12s???

I could be wrong, but, there is a rumor that a guy is doing low 12s with only head work, gears, exhaust and shifter.

I saw the car and it looked low 13s to me, but whatever. Maybe it was a bad day.

Is the stock FPR adjustable? Anyone raise/lower/tweak it with a dyno tune?

Here's everything you need right from Steeda. The whole package was designed with Ford and Steeda. They even say that the dealer will work on this setup//

There is no FPR on an 02 and up, the fuel injection system is a returnless type, fuel pressure is regulated at the pump. About the only adjustable feature is the ignition timing (after an adjustable timing set-up is installed), I suppose with intake, exhaust, and timing, you could probably squeeze another 10-20 hp out of the mod motor. Back before 11/01, I used to rag on the baby cammers, but after buying one, I've found alot of respect for the 4.6 Its a good engine, especially when you look at the hp and tq #'s 260 hp and 300 ft/lbs of torque. Compared to the 5.0's peak of 225/300.

True...and is it true the #'s are slightly conservative too? I wish I could keep me 5.0 and get the 4.6, but unfortunately it's one or the other.

See signature and web site for what it takes to hit 12's NA without a power adder or porting/motor work.
