Default G-Trac

I would go with the Steeda Sport Springs. They don't lower the car as much as others, but the performance from these are excellent. I put them on mine and didn't have to replace anything else. I ended up installing the rest of the G-Trac kit from Steeda though. I have noticed an incredile ride increase! No comparison to any other Mustang I have been in. The best thing about the G-Trac system is that you can put it in in pieces, so you don't have to dish out a lot of money all at once. On my car, the springs took me down 1&1/2 in front and 2 in back. With the factory shock/struts the ride was a little rough, but once I put in the upgrades from Tokico that was all corrected. I still do not have caster/camber plates on my GT, but they are up on the list soon. I have G-Trac components : 4130-SubFrames w/crossties, Aluminum Lower Control Arms, HD Upper Arms, Springs, Shocks, Struts, Quads, Tubular Front Swaybar, Solid HD Rear Swaybar. The roads all look straight to me, curves make no difference. I have lost several F-body cars racing through curves,. it's funny to watch them hit the brakes around a curve and sloooww wayy down......

Default lowering 2000 or up?

I have heard from my buddy at Kimnach ford here in Virginia Beach that the only springs that "really" lower a 2000 & up Tang are the Steeda ones.
Please contact him if you have any questions.
His name is Jim.
His number is 1-757 461-6401, ask for parts.
Good luck.
Scottie

Default Price

I paid 150.00 for mine, I bought them from a local guy that never used them. Here's Steeda pricing from their warehouse.

1979-2002* V-8 Sport Springs (set of 4) $189.95
1999-2002 Cobra Sport Springs (set of 4) $259.95
1984-2002 V-6 Sport Springs (set of 4) $189.95
