Question Best Computer

What is the best computer to get for a 4.6L Cobra Engine with a T-45 tranny (cause I am doing a swap)? I am concerned with low end power cause I don't really care about top speed, only acceleration. Basically I just want to beat people off the line and maybe even through the 1/4 mile. Top speed doesn't matter to me at all, I never plan on going over 80 or 90.

Also, if anyone knows anything about doing a swap from a 3.8L V6 to a 4.6L V8 from the cobra e-mail me at LABARINTH@aol.com with any tips and suggestions. Write "Cobra Engine" as the subject so I don't delete it. I really need help, I feel like I know so little.

You need a Cobra computer for your Cobra engine. If your looking for low end torque the computer is not the part to change. You can get a chip , which will give you some torque, but the way to better your acceleration is to change your ring and pinion. Since you have the DOHC engine that likes to rev you should get some steep gears like 4.30's or 4.56's. This will help your Cobra off the line and give it the low end it needs so the engine can rev quicker. If your looking for torque and off the line speed the Cobra engine is not designed for it. It is a high rev horsepower engine that lacks torque.
