Default emblem removal

Anyone know the best and safest way to remove the fender emblems? I don't want to mess up the paint or do any damage. Is there any tricks to doing this?

Thanks

If I could find that &^%& who used a screw driver to get mine I'd get him to tell you how NOT to do it!

Hence, I've only had experience putting them ON, not off. When I took my deal sticker off, I just used WD40, but factory emblems are probably different.

I used a hair dryer and it came off nice and when I relized there is two wholes in the fender I was able to stick it back on because the glue was still warm.

Fishing line to "cut" the adhesive. Think teeth flossing.

I used a hair dryer to heat it up, then sawed thru it w/ fishing line. Then I used the dyer and my fingers to pick off the tape that didn't come off, then WD40 to remove the adhesive. Then I washed it and applied a couple coats of wax (solvent strips wax).
