Default tach on distributorless ignition?

will a Autometer tach hook up to my 2000 gt? i would like to get
an answer before i spend the money?

I know when you use the DIS2 or 4 (depending on car/cyl no.) you have to get Tach Adapters, and I think you have to have one for each coil set (my 98 has two), I think on the newer stangs you have coil-on-plug, so I don't know... I would look around on AutoMeter's website and check their FAQ and ask them directly, or someone else who has done it... good luck

You are in luck. I have a Monster Tach that I was going to put in my '00, but the cheapest adapter I could find before was around $200. Looks like Ford just came out with one for considerably less. I just read about it 2 days ago here:
