Default first cheap mods

hey guys. my overall plan for my car is to get a built engine and drop a twin turbo setup in it, and get a T-56 transmtion. most of the intake work is suplied with the turbo kit, and the T-56 defeats the point of getting gears. I'm looking to get a bit more power for now that will not get un-done by my total project....... so what items can be done that will not inhibit my over all work? any ideas?

how much I want, or am going to spend? think I priced everything out to be around 28k: including stereo, tools, parts, and some labor that I just can not do my self.

the suspension is mostly planned out. saleen to the extreme kit, then play with a few things that it does not intale. the TT kit will be about all I need, but want power now

a short throw shifter ( steeda or pro 5.0 is what a suggest) is always a good place to start. Exhaust is a universial part also mufflers and x or h pipe ( depending on what mufflers you get).

thing is I dont want to get the muffler till I have power behind it, dont want to sound mean and not back it up. the X/H will be dependant on the header length of the turbo modual.....

the shifter would be a waste till I got the t-56, or I'd end up buying two....... maybe there really are NO mods I can do that will not get replaced later. sigh..... guess suspension or go strait to turbo.

I would say just yank the 4cycle engine totally... it's a waste of space... I would put in a Binford 6000 Nitro Turbine Drive with Enchanced Dual Left Handed Rotating Oscillators... more power!!!! awh awh awhh awhhh awhh!!!!!

TT sounds like a fun way to go, lotta money... lotta fun!! good luck

So true. Honestly, all the people that make more sound than power that I have met were all ricers. As for mods, go straight to the turbo if you can. You might find yourself spending more money than planned, depending if you get screwed over by a faulty kit and something explodes, etc. Maybe you should do that and save the rest of the money as trouble shooting. If nothing goes wrong, then spend the money of the T-56 and what not.
