FRP 70mm T-Body & 87 mm MAF
What kind of hp gains if any can be expected with the FRP 70mm T-Body and a Pro-M 87 mm MAF ? The FRP book lists the 70mm T-Body as"significant power increase" can just the T-body do this? I know both will help hp gain but are they worth the $ 375 for the pair?
Thanks !

I had just a 70mm throttle body on my '00 GT for a while because I got a good deal on it. I couldn't tell any seat of the pants difference.

I agree with blue00gt, I couldn't feel any difference when I installed my 70mm TB on my stang. It was very very easy though, i did notice a little improvement at high RPM and in gas mileage... We're talking like 1-2mpg, not much, prob not even the cause. I would think that MAF and TB together would provide some difference, but would really become noticable later on with other mods, like High-Flow intake and Heads. I am about to go to the 80 or 87 mm for my car, along with better injectors.

The 87mm MAF might be overkill for a NA 98 GT, as something that big could be better suited for a car with a power adder. A 80mm will flow plenty, and you won't lose any air velocity. You should see a decent little power gain with a good MAF.
I have a SVO 70mm TB just because I found a guy who let it go for only $60, so I couldn't pass it up. I haven't noticed any gains, seat of the pants or at the track, but hopefully it will help when I do the heads and intake in a couple months. MM&FF just tested one on a 99+ engine, and only got like1-2HP, but picked up something like 10ft #'s of torque (I'll have to find the dyno and look at it,) so it might help a little on more powerful eninges.
