Tires???
What size and type (brand) do yall recommend for my 92 pony? I am going to mount them on my pony rims (16x7.5). Keep in mind that I dropped my 2". I want a street tire that is tall for traction. I am running 245-40-17 on my Cobra rims and I can't grip for anything. I have lower control arms and it helps but that is not enough.

On my '93GT I used to own, I ran 245/50/ZR16 BF Goodrich Comp T/A's. I had 3.73 gears and was able to cut 2.03 60' times at the track. From what I hear, that's not bad for a stock mustang.
I had Eibach springs, SSM upper control arms, Alston lower control arms, plus I took out the quad shocks because I had tire to shock clearance problems. |
