Post vortech or nitrous.....

what has a bigger effect, the nos at 150 or a vortech super chager.which one is better......i have a 98 mustang gt on 150 shot nos, im getting a great deal on a 2000 gt engine already with a vortech on it...should i swap the whole engine, or should i just take off the heads ,cams, and manifold and put them on the 98...it may be a stupid question but i have to ask.

Cool

Depends how many races your running and where.

MOROSO?
Or Krome?

Personally I'd go with the 00 engine and Vortech. Large shots are great for 1/4 mi runs but roll into a street race low on the giggle fumes and you might get embarrassed.

If the '00 engine is low mileage, and everything checks out good, just swap in the whole motor. Although you do get a little more compression w/ the headswap onto your '98 if you still have your stock pistons. Either way, you'll have an extra block w/ internals laying around.
I also would swap the blower in too like. You gotta love the power of the juice, so how about having 85% of that power WHENEVER YOU WANT!!!
I plan a 99+ engine and tranny swap into my Tbird next summer.

Put in the 99 and Vortech.

I would sell your 98 motor and nos stuff for a transmission that will handle all this new found power, and some devices to get it to the ground.
