Post All you MOFO's with 3.73's

I bought a set this morning. FMS. I now have 3.08's.

You guys that have 'em, exactly how much harder did your car pull and what were your gains in the 1/4?

If lost a race by 2 car lenghts last year, would 3.73's be enough to put me up front?

AM i the first on Mustangworks to run 3.73's?

Maybe some people have installed them on other boards. I did a search but don't need to hear about fuel economy 'cause it's not what i care about.

3.73's will make your car move a little faster, you bet. I don't know if you'll be able to beet someone who beet you last yeat by 2 car lengths. I would guess so, but can't speak from experience.

I think everyone's slow because it is Monday Morning. I know I am

Cool

You should pick up at least 3-4 tenths in the 1/4. My ET dropped from a 15.4 to a 15.0 with my 96 GTS with 3.73s (both with 2.4 60 ft times). With using a rough estimate of 1 carlength=.1 in the 1/4. You should be able to beat that dude now, if he hasn't learned to drive better and/or got some more mods.

Going from 2.73's to 3.73's in my 1990 GT was worth at least 2-3 tenths, so the gears definitely have a chance of putting you on top of the guy who beat you last year. Unless, of course, he's modded his car since then and keeps up with you!

Must depend on the car and motor. I have a '79 firebird that I went from 2.73 to 3.73 and picked up 7 tenths 14.9 to 14.2. Course the cam sucks redline at 4800
