![]() I took the back 2 cats off each side of the H pipe on my '96 GT leaving the front 1 one each side. I have noticed that the right pipe has more soot than the left, I asked my dealer (mistake, but I figured what the heck) about it and he claims that the reason they differ is due to the fact that I am killing the downstream sensors by removing the cats. Is there any truth in this?? Besides flow how much more efficient can the aftermarkets be than a single stock cat? I don't have the money for an aftermarket H pipe yet and figured this would do for now. The CE light is not on so they must be close to correct. Found an old posting on checking the sensors, going to do that this week.
Thanks, JR ------------------ |
