Post Weighed my car today

I was doing some inspections at a local steel plant today. So upon leaving I started BS'n to the guards and asked if I could sneak up on thier scales. They said ok and off I went. Now I had roughly a quarter tank of gas, spare tire in trunk and myself(150lbs) I drive with my Welds Draglites on most everyday so this is alot lighter then the factory wheels.

TOTAL WEIGHT 3400 pounds even(scales are accurate to +/- 1 pound)

So take me out of car and spare tire/jack, my car should be in the 3200 pound range. I think I will be sheding my passeneger seat and back seat and see if this beast gets in the 13.20's.

If I figure this right with weight and my ET/Trapspeed I estimate I should be making roughly 279-282 horse at rear wheels.

Your car is right on par for what it should weigh, but I seriously doubt you're making 280+ at the wheels with those mods, unless I'm missing something here.

Cool

My 96 stang weighed in at 3200#. Without me and about 3/4 tank of gas. Spare tire included, too. That's not too bad at all for your car. I need to get my L on the scales and see how bad it'll tip 'em. On avg. it's about 4300-4500#.
