Default Hoping for 13.99...

I am wondering if I have what it takes to get my stang in the 13
second range(13.99 is fine). I have run 14.49 at 95 with just the flows. Now with the cold air induction, pulleys do you think that
will be low enough to get the 13.99? Or do you think I am going to have to get the 3.73's in place of the 3.27's for the magic #?

Do you have a manual or auto?
Your mph seems low, so I am going to guess you have an auto. But, even with that, it still seems low. Did you run going into a headwind, or are you at a high elevation? What were your 60ft times? Can you tell us about how you drove/shifted?
The cold air kit really isn't going to make much of a difference, and I would assume the pulleys to drop about .1- .15 sec. If you have an auto, throw in some 4:10's and a chip from www.customchip.com, and you'll go easy 13's.
If you have a 5spd, why was your mph so low the first time you ran? In good conditions, a 5spd car with pulleys, H-pipe, K&N, and flows should go 13's. It'll all depend on driving and traction. There are a number of stock '99+ GT 5spd's going consistant high 13's bone stock.
Again, a set of gears would go a long way to making consistant 13 sec passes a reality.

If it indeed is an auto get the gears and a chip to fix the speedo and improve shifting. That should be enough to get you into the 13's. If it's a 5 speed then get back out at the track and get more practice in. Most stock 5 speeds will get into the low 14s stock.

The car is indeed an auto . I am not sure why the mph is that low?
I kept the car in drive with the od off and the traction control off.
I also foot braked the car and was pulling 2.24 60 fts.Its 1/8 mile
was 9.39.Should I take back the cold air and go with the drop in
filter and remover the air silencer? What about a timing adjuster?
The car still has the factory H pipe with 4 cats.

What tires you running on your car StangU. I know the goodyears are a pain in butt to get any kind of decent launch from. I would think with what you have it should be able to run 13.90's with a good 60'. If it doesnt then I would go with gears.
