Default 2002 Gt

I have a 2002 GT % speed and I am kind of new with cars and I dont know too much. I have noticed that it has one of those governor things that wont let it go faster than 110 mph. If anyone can let me know what I need to do to get rid of that or send me a web page where i can get more info O would appreciate it. Thakns

Thumbs up

110?? unless they have changed things from 2001 to 2002 the govern is around 150mph, i know you can atleast bring it up to 135 (at a air field) i have and it still wanted to go. If infact it is governed at 110 a custom chip should get rid of the govern.

Question are you riding the brake??

Damn, I've had my 2002 gt 5 speed up to 140ish really didn't take the time to see if it was 141 or 142 or 143, you get the idea. Not really a good time to take your eyes off the road. ( which was a desolate 15mile straightway in Il.) So no one better flame me on that ****. awright.

Ya, like he said, you would just need a custom aftermarket computer chip replacing the stock one you have now. I don't know too much about computer chips so thats the only thing i can think of..

Ironic that im a computer tech, but i know nothing about my computer on my car.
