Cool

don't see why not... you never get the money out that you put inot a car..you can get a super gas car minus engine for under 10k..
'specially if it's a fox body car.. http://www.collectorcartraderonline....searchRealm=10
this car's going for $8500, throw a $10k engine in and you'd have money to spare..
So, yeah.. it's believable

Cool

My opinion is this...

If she had the money to spend, and she wanted the car and could afford spending this amount of money on this particular car, than more power to her,it's her money and no-one has a right to tell her how to spend/or not spend money.

Thumbs up

I agree with Mustanguy. If she earns her own money, she can spend it on anything she wants.

I didn't check out the corral, but that sounds like a lot of car. Hopefully she has, or will obtain, the skill to drive it, and not get hurt in it.

Some people have the know how and time to build cars, others don't. I admit I wanted to do all the work on my mustang myself. But when it came time to rebuild the engine, I didn't have the time/tools/confidence for it, so I had it professionally done. Nothing wrong with paying to have things done right for you.

I go to the corral too sometimes and notice that people are jumped on pretty quick regardless, but if they saw that pic out of 5.0 then it's probably well deserved! oh well!

I have read most of the first page, and from what I can see she didn't say anything to make her seem like she was lieing, up until the pic, if it is from a magazine. Who knows...maybe the mustang she bought was featured in the magazine? Everyone seemed to be jumping on her case based on how much she paid and what she got for it. They shouldn't have jumped down her throat unless she said something that was proof she was lieing if she even is.

857 hp@8900 rpm
955 ft lbs@7300

does not work out

955 lb ft at 7300 would work out to 1237 hp at that rpm and 857 hp at 8900 woould work out to 505 lb ft at that rpm.

I knew a guy while stationed in Ft. Belvoir Va who had a picture of his girlfreind in a frame on his desk. She was really a knockout. One day we took the picture out of the frame and it turned out to be a page out of Playboy. ya never know about some folks
