Transmission Adjustment Problems
Howdy ya'll!
I'm having a heck of a time adjusting this trans. I have an '85 convert with the 5.0, and an AOD. I took off the crappy old injection and installed a factory intake and a holley carb. I installed a Lokar transmission cable instead of the rod that was factory because I couldn't get it adjusted. I still can't get the darn thing adjusted!! It wants to hold it's shift way too long. Any ideas?? P.S. what is the proper adjustment procedure?? If I hook up a pressure guage, is there a certain pressure at a certain RPM, or what???? Last edited by knjclay; 06-06-2006 at 12:24 PM.. |
