Well the first couple of mods I would do are these.
1.3.73 or 4.10 rear end gear
2.x or h pipe with or without cats depending on where you live
3.BBK, MAC, or some type of cold air kit with a K&N air filter
4.Set of Steeda underdrive pulleys
5.Also a short throw shifter would'nt hurt
6.And a Steeda timing adjuster is also a good buy i've been told.
That is a basic bolt on list, start with what you can afford. If I where you the gears would go in first. Well have fun and happy moding.

I'd agree with everything that 98SNAKE said except for the cold air kit. From what I've seen at the track and on the dyno they give no additional power. Stick with a drop in K&N or if you want to spend the money pick up a C&L Kit.

I agree with Mustang 92 about just dropping in a K&N without the cold air kit. I put a filter into the stock intake and was amazed at the difference! I have never had such a noticeable difference with just a filter with any other car I have owned. It revs out much cleaner and pulls a little harder, I had bogs in a few spots especially in 1st and 4th that are now gone. Bought it at Pep Boys for $45.00 and the Pep Boy slapped it in for me! After all the articles and dyno tests about the cold air intake, I'm going to skip it until I am flowing way more air (supercharger).

Exclamation

This reminds me of something I posted on a string about someones car bogging bad, and occasionally stalling. I told them to reset the computer and drive it like they stole it.

I forgot to say, dont put the gas more than 3/4's the way down. After 3/4's throttle the computer goes out of adaptive memory mode. Be either on the 3/4 throttle or off of it. Also let the car idle alot, for about 15 minutes. And the car will probably stall on you once of twice before it learns how to idle again.

I'm sorry about leaving those last parts out last time, I wasnt thinking fully.
