4.10 gears
off-road h-pipe.

If you really want to spark it up add a 3000-3200 stall and a shift kit for the tranny.

ditto with the gears and h-pipe. But i think a 3000-3200 stall would be too much for a convert. Try a 25-2800 instead.

thanks alot guys....4.10s r a must.......prob is i can't do h pipe...................must be emissions legal...live in suburbs of NYC...they are strict.........and i dont' want to keep taking off and installing stock h pipe....

so hi flow x pipe with converters? wat mid pipe then? also pulleys???

now for the camshaft....wat is the deal with the 3000-3200 stall etc.....wat does all of that mean.......can you please explain to me how the camshaft works...wat parts it deals with....and wat brands and prices are good.....???

also.... i have a convert and it is auto tranny.....instead of shift kit...i was probably gonna get the Superchip for my car...simply because it does the shiftpoints and it says a guarantee of 23 horses and 36 ft lbs of torque..

how does that all sound?

once again please help more on the camshaft ordeal....please explain@@@@!!!! thanks!!!

Get a hi-flow h-pipe with cat's. Pulleys are worth some power, but they spin the altinator and water pump slower. So if you've got a stereo system or you like in a hot climate don't use them.

Don't **** with the camshafts.

A stall converter is part of the tranny, it makes it more efficent, increases torque and allows it to rev higher off the line. ie when you punch it, it will flash up to 2800 rpms instead of 1600 rpms, it gets you in your powerband faster.

A chip will add almost nothing in a stockish car.

FYOI, the camshaft opens and closes the valves on the motor.
