Question ratio

How can I find out what my rear end ratio is? Is there a code on the car or something that will tell me? I've got a '97 GT 5-speed if it matters. thanks

the metal tag reads like this: (General) The ratio is in the lower left corner when viewed like this:

--------------------------------------------
-- --
-- --
-- 3L08 --
--------------------------------------------

3L73 = TracLok 3.73
3L08 = TracLok 3.08
308 = Normal Limited Slip 3.08
2L73, 273 and so on...

etc, etc...

Read these from Certification Tag Label or from Rear Housing Metal Tag
Year specific codes for 1997 V6/GT/Cobra are:

1 - 2.73 Conventional Axle
A - 2.73 or 3.08 TractionLok
C - 3.27 TractionLok
