That comes out to high 14s in the quarter...
(I averaged the 3 runs) That is about right on par for an early modular pullies\exhaust Mustang....

I dont know if my last message posted or not, but i want to make my car as naturally asperated as possible I will do mods like add the transgo and taller gears like 4.10 also remove some weight and get the suspension work done hopefully i can drop the car down to a 8.5 in the 1/8th thats my goal this year. Also i tried putting on M/T slicks 15x8.5 and they seem to boug the motor more , i get better results on street tires , and have know idea why but thats it

get a higher stall converter fo sho
I would suggest a 3,000 stall. That will help you get off the line better. A 8.5 is somewhere around a mid 13.......so your gonna need a pretty fair amount of mods to go from a high 14 to a mid 13.

Multiply your 1/8th mile ET by 1.57 to calculate approx what it will run in 1/4.
9.419 x 1.57 = 14.78 |

14 secs is slow I want a 4.10 gear and maybe a shot of nos eventually, to propel me into the vett range...speakig of vett I was at the line with a new zo6 and he beat me by 1 1/2 car lenght. Oh!! well will see what happens my goal is to drop the car into a 8.6 run in the 1/8 and traction is not hurting me as you can see, so maybe the gear change will help off the line and like you said a smaller convertor w/around 3,000 stall. Consistancy is really good esp on just street tires --slicks the same way but i think the car is quicker on streets vs slicks ...thanks for all the info , and keep it comming
Looking for spare parts ...gears, covertor, etc anything to go faster lol |
