Which shifter handle height?

Everyone likes short throws but I like old school long throws because they provide more leverage. Everyone says shifting is quicker with a short throw but I say just move your hand faster to solve that problem. Short throws areharder to get into gear. I know everyone will disagree with me on this one so let the hate posts begin.

When i had the 6, my tri-ax shifter was placed in short position, however i found it harder to place it into the gears also. I figured it was just the shifter, never tried it in the higher position. Too lazy
