Post streetable gears

I want to change the gears in my new Mustang. I drive 50 miles round trip to work so I don't want anything too radical. I was thinking 3:73's. My car has 3:27's now. (At least thats what I was told) I have a 5 speed with Anti-Lock brakes. Is the ABS a problem when changing gears?
Next problem- will the speedo be effected with the geat change? Since the 2000 doesn't have a speedo gear, what can I do the make the speedo read right??
