![]() OK.. I installed the borla side exhaust on my 2001 convertible mustang. I had to remove the subframe connectors becase the exhaust would not fit with them there. Now does anyone know where i can get different subframes that will work with this setup. maybe something thinner? any help is appreciated...!!

I hear that the ones from Kenny Brown are thin and tapered at the ends. I've seen them advertised in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords. Robb |

![]() If that doesn't help, try looking at a ROUSH side exiting exhaust S2 or S3. They should have the sub-frames option.
Look and see. |

![]() You may wanna try calling Pauls High Performance. http://www.paulshp.com/paulshp.htm
I had seen something online about sub-frame connectors that were made for to clear side exit exhaust. They are bent to follow floor profile and are full weld in's. Only problem is I cant find the article online about them now. Ack I found article http://www.mustangweekly.com/2001/may/brace/bracep1.asp ------------------ My '00 GT 2000 GT Laser red-5speed,MAC Cold Air, MAC 2 1/2" Cat-Back, 3.27gears, Pro-5.0 shifter, Weld Draglite's 15x5 and 15x10, 275/50-15 DragT/A's, 165R15 front, BBK Underdrive pullies, BBK offroad X-pipe with Dynomax super converters Best Quarter mile run to date: 13.350@101.79/1.844 60'(7-6-01)Best MPH 102.11(9-2-01) [This message has been edited by Ares (edited 09-06-2001).] |

![]() The Griggs Racing "though the floor subframe connectors" aka the frame kit will work. They provide much better support then any external subframe connector, but installation is not fun. They run from the front bulk head and though the rear subframe (where they should), which means no loss in gound or exhaust clearence and much more effective bracing, but you have to pull the interior out in order to install them (ouch). Just a thought.
