Vert Subframe Connectors? Help?
I just bought some subframe connectors for my 2000 GT Vert. While doing some other work on the car, I crawled under the car and found what appears to be subframe connectors already on the car. Now, I bought the car used, so obviously the previous owner could have put them on. They are hollow and square and definately connect the front to the back. They are maybe 3 - 4 feet long.
Here is my question: Do the verts have subframes on them already from the factory? Am I supposed to removed these and install better after-market ones? Or, did I get a lucky find and I can send the new ones back? Thanks guys!

I did some more digging. I found out that 99+ Verts are equipped with subframe connectors from the factory. i also found a Ford technical bulletin that requires them to be welded (the factory ones are only bolted) to improve stiffness in car that experience vibration.
So here is my slightly revised question: Do I just weld the ones I have and return the new ones for a refund? I don't race and have not noticed any "problems" with the car, I just did not realize that there were already subframe connectors on the car. Are they now worth my $100 investment plus installation? I purchased the better chrome alloy ones from Steeda.
