Swap back to pushrod power?

I was wondering what yall would do. My '97 4.6 runs perfect as I have stated, but, I want more power and still want reliability. I hate walking. I have a 302 out of a 78 ford F100. For the money I can build a carborated 331/347 ci. at the same price as building my 4.6. I love my 4.6, don't get me wrong, but I could get a whole lot more power out of the old push rod. Have any of yall seen the price difference in these motors? Man, everything is almost doubled in some cases(and I don't mean just the cams). Now as far reliability, I really like the modular engine. Kinda leaning towards the mod I guess, but the rebuild I "need" is going to be about 3,200 for everything, except the roots style s/charger. The s/c I want is an another 3 grand!! It will be faster than I need it but that is what I want. I've seen 302's with about 4000 in it runnin' way quicker than that 281 for 6000 could ever see. Just wanted to see what ya'll thought.
