Default Help. Need info please.

I've got a 1996 Mustang GT that is, what Ford calls, "Bright Tangerine". Is this a rare color? I've been told that 1996 was the only year that Ford offered this as a stock color. Does anyone have any info about this? Any help would be appreciated.

A few years ago there was a guy running around my hometown that had that Bright Tangerine color but his also had two black stripes running over the hood/top/back of the car. He said that the car came from the dealer with the stripes. I really liked the look of that car!

To be honest, I've never seen another Bright Tangerine Mustang to this day - must be rare! Cool!

I've been able to answer my own question. A little bit more serching brought me to www.yellowmustangregistry.com/OrangeList.htm. Apparently there were only 920 total vins that were tangerine orange produced by Ford in 1996. They have never used the color since. 24% were automatic, 60% were coups, and 64% had leather interior like mine. I am selling the car. I anyone is interested contact me at chandlerccjr@earthlink.net.
