Tire Recommendation
Hi all,
I have 2 17x9 rims and I'm looking for some good tires for them. My buddy gave me a pair of the Goodyear Eagle F1 (275/40/17) from his Mustang Cobra. After speaking to my dad, he said that the Goodyear Eagle F1 is a very hard tire and not great for the drag strip. So, I'm selling them. Now, for my questions: 1) What is the widest tire size I can go with for a 17x9 rim? 2) What are some good tires for relatively inexpensive? (Kuhmos, Nittos, Sumitomos, BF Goodrich, etc...) I want this to be a non-drag radial tire since I'll be driving on them all summer (dry & wet conditions). Thanks!
