Default Transmission fluid question!!!!!!!!

i have 2003 mach 1 five speed. I want flush the fluid out, what fluid should i put back in? i was looking at the fluids amsoil sells cuz i have it in the engine and rear, but i dont no if im supposed to just use ATF or there specific manual trans fluid?

you don't want to use atf.it's sticky compared to manual trans fluids.
my suggestion would be to try one of purple royal trans fluids or b&ms trans fluids

that is 1000% wrong... ford call for the use of ATF in the trans

just get motorcraft or royal purple

I used mobil 1 atf for years in a used tr3650 I bought 4 years a go for for 350. I just went to cheap dollar store atf and I noticed no difference.

dont mind my opinion but in Puerto Rico they use motor oil 50 for standard transmissions in drag racing cars thats what I head from my cousin that owns a drag car down there.

did you check the owners manual? my '03 gt calls for dex/mercon atf fluid..... i just changes mine at 99k.

atf only no motor oil i have better luck with plan atf in the t5 5 speed.i used synthetic once in a t5 and it didnt shift to great
