trany grind???
my trany is grinding from first to second when im geting on it???? and yes im making shore the cluch is in. could it be the syncro??? or mabie the short throw shifter that makes it do that??? any input would be great thanks all.............

I would have to say that it would be the syncro. The shifter wouldn't have anything to do with the grinding unless you had the stop bolts adjusted wrong, but then it would do it all the time. Try getting on it and then on the 1-2 shift puch the clutch in and let the rpms drop a little say from 5,000 to 3,000 and if it slides in smoothly then its probably the syncro.
