upgrading rear suspension

I AM INTERESTED IN UPGRADING MY REAR SUSPENSION TO A COBRA IRS. DOSE ANYBODY HAVE ANY EXCPERIENCE IN THIS MATTER AND IF SO CAN U TELL ME IF I WOULD HAVE TO MODIFY ANYTHING TO MAKE THE IRS ASSY WORK?

I don't have any info on that swap.
But you do know that a live axle is better for a straight line launch right?
If you're into corner carving... ignore my last statement...

hammers right irs is only good for course and auto crossing at the drag strip it sucks most people with the new cobras that drag race replace it with a live axle.

Hard-core autocrossers say that the IRS sucks. You'd be better off w/ a live axle and a good-quality PH bar and torque arm.
