Vert Subframe Connectors? Help?

I just bought some subframe connectors for my 2000 GT Vert. While doing some other work on the car, I crawled under the car and found what appears to be subframe connectors already on the car. Now, I bought the car used, so obviously the previous owner could have put them on. They are hollow and square and definately connect the front to the back. They are maybe 3 - 4 feet long.

Here is my question: Do the verts have subframes on them already from the factory? Am I supposed to removed these and install better after-market ones? Or, did I get a lucky find and I can send the new ones back?

Thanks guys!

I did some more digging. I found out that 99+ Verts are equipped with subframe connectors from the factory. i also found a Ford technical bulletin that requires them to be welded (the factory ones are only bolted) to improve stiffness in car that experience vibration.

So here is my slightly revised question: Do I just weld the ones I have and return the new ones for a refund? I don't race and have not noticed any "problems" with the car, I just did not realize that there were already subframe connectors on the car. Are they now worth my $100 investment plus installation? I purchased the better chrome alloy ones from Steeda.

NO!!!!
remove the stock ones and have the new ones welded in the stock ones are nor even half has still as aftermarket ones

you will be able to tell the diff the first time you drive your car in any kind of sported way
