Thumbs up

Black99GT,
The only mods besides the s/c is a Pro 5.0 shifter and a 70mm throttle body. Yesterday I received my 87mm MAF via UPS and plan to install this evening. Next week I'll replace the 3.27's with 3.73's and order a catback\x-pipe. I installed the s/c myself with the help of a friend when I needed a second set of hands. The hardest part of the install was punching a hole in the oil pan for the oil return line (half hour of hammering). If you can read and turn a wrench you can install a vortech, easy stuff. I took it slow and it took me 8 hours. I don’t know how much boost I’m running yet because I don’t have boost gauge! I guess I should order one of those too…but first I gotta get those plugs. Anyway it’s making good power as is and is fairly quiet. I ordered it from Powered by Ford, free shipping and they match any advertised price. I think North American Motorsports had the best prices…($2,799+$125 for the quiet drive).

If you want my opinion don’t wait for your warrantee to run out, buy a s\c today. I haven’t stopped smiling since I installed mine.

How are those Neato drag radials holding off the line? 245/45R17?

Thanks 93CobraR for the plug info.
