Will head/intake change, change sound of car?
Will changing my heads to gt40ps and intake to a cobra or explorer change the way my car sounds at all? Right now I have stock heads stock intake stock cam and longtubes offroad h flows. I know the cam change would but curious if heads or intake change will change sound at all?

Now when you put on a set of high flowing heads, more compression and more cubes is when you really notice the difference! There will be no need to compare the before and after for sound at that point. The more air you bring in and out the louder it will get. Hope this helps |

Yeah but see you did a cam... I don't plan on doing one, i'm sure that's why it got louder.... or maybe it was the heads, anyway thanks for the reply!

Heck, the sound of my buddies 99GT changed significantly with a C&L meter and a WMS cold air pipe, so the more air in and out, the louder it shall be.

Same with mine. Got a LOT louder over my old 302 when I swapped engines...although the tone was almost identical until I swapped over to the Magnaflows. It sounds wicked when it start building cylinder pressure in 2nd and 3rd
