Default @ what RPM to shift

What RPM do you shift your '01/'02 GT at when your racing at the track? Also, what are your best times at said shift points?

Just doing a little research before taking her out.

Thanks guys!

From your sig, you sound like you are doing okay without advice butI normally get about 1 RPM (that's right ONE) away from redline at every shift except 3-4 (I have 3.73's). I am still a novice so I am only pulling 13.8's personally (have pulled one 13.76). BTW, my 60 ft is low 1.9's (i did pull two 1.8's - 1.891, 1.874) on Nitto DR's.

I have only started to play with the fuel, timming, MAF curves, plus adding some shift pressure. I have not changed any shift RPM's yet it's my first chip so I am going slow. The stock shift RPM for the auto is 5700 on the 1>2 so I am thinking of taking all to 5800. It won't let me change the 3>4 shift.

I'm also thingking of getting a 3.73 gear, but I'm going to try a BBK trottle body and some Steeda pulley's first.

Foxbuilder - I noticed in your sig it says 2.73 gears. It should have come with 3.27s.

I will do the old ratio test tonight. I haven't even got into chaging gears with a chip yet, taking it one step at a time, can't blow up the daily driver.

Thanks blue00gt
