Default Where do you guys buy your tires?

i have found the cheapest prices online, but then you have to spend a little more for shipping. i have went to local tires places around here and they dont have many options, i get many prices of around 170-190$ , i have found tires online for low as 80$ a piece for kumho's , just curious what you huys think of the "value tires" since most of us go thru them pretty quick, thanks again

Default Try Discount Tire

I actually just purchased my first set of Kuhmo Supra's and I am VERY pleased with them. I've actually only put a set of rear's on but they are pretty sticky and give a good quality ride which isn't noisy. I had BFG's, KDWS's, but they didn't have as good a dry traction as the Kuhmo's and were much more expensive.

Hey wantapony,

Would you mind posting the link to where you found those tires for $80? I need four new ones and that's a lot better price than for what I can get them around here. Thanks a bunch.

BFG KDWS's are all season hi-perf tires if the Kumo's are rain or dry tires they're gonna stick better.

BTW, this is what that mumbo-jumbo stands for

KDWS = Key Desgin Wet & Snow

wait im lost....so what kind of tire has better traction? not an all season right? i want something that is decent in the rain and doesnt have my *** end all over the road , so im thinking of a tire geared for the rain, will that give me good try traction as well?

I use the Toyo Proxes T1-S, this tire is awesome AA traction rating. The ultimate for wet traction. I had Nitto's before and the rearend was everywhere, couldn't think about touching the gas pedal around a corner. Now I drive it in drizzle or a downpour as if I were on dry pavement. That's no exaggeration.
