Zex Nitrous
Hey, I just ordered a Zex Nitrous kit. It seems that this kit has a strong reputation as being reliable and easy to install. It is adjustable from 55-75 hp, which is fine by me because I did not want the temptation to jet beyond 75hp (of course I could probably run 100 safely without much worry).
I have a friend with a shop that will help me install it and I purchased a back issue of MM&FF where they installed one on a '98 GT. I'm tired of all the bullshit bolt-ons and want some real power. I'm hoping that the 75 shot will take me from high 13.5s to somewhere in the 12s (even if it is 12.9s). I'll let you all know how it goes. I'm considering a write up with pictures, but don't know if I should bother. ------------------ 1998 Triple blk Cobra Convertible 4.10 gears, ASP pullies, Bassanni X-pipe, Steeda subframe , Tri-Ax shifter, UPR Powerpipe, 80mm Pro-M Best ET 13.59 @ 103.2mph (2.1 60') |
